Our Encephalitis Brain Games 2024 challenge

As many of you know Encephalitis hit our family in October 2023. It has been life changing and created many challenges to overcome and many more to continue overcoming. It has been a huge learning journey but with many blessings to be found along the way. Encephalitis International has been an invaluable source of information and support along our journey especially at the beginning. We have been grateful for their literature not just to help us as adults understand but their stories for children to help explain what is happening along the way. To those who have heard of encephalitis or heard some of our journey you will know that there are both physical and cognitive challenges to overcome every day and we couldn’t be prouder of the perseverance. Resilience and courage our Mum has continued to demonstrate throughout this journey.

So because of our recent journey, we are taking part in Encephalitis International's Brain Games challenge this September.

Our challenge is to take on 30 days of activity by the end of the month and raise valuable awareness and funds for a charity that supports people across the world affected by this devastating brain condition.
